Patient man ride Donkey!!!!

You know, they have a saying back in my hometown (Kingston Jamaica) that "patient man ride donkey." I interpret that to mean if we only wait without murmurring, then good things will eventually come our way. So instead of walking long miles, we get a nice donkey ride. But isnt it hard sometimes to wait on that donkey, that's if it ever comes? Well according to the Bible, faith without works is dead. In other words, whether or not we see it, the donkey must come, so we have to live our lives in obedience in full recognition that the donkey IS coming. For the past couple of months I have been learning to exercise some serious patience bwoy!!!!..Not to mention some serious faith. Again the Bible tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God. Now if you are a christian, you know exactly what that means or should know. Half the time we really dont know how we are going to get through a day, much less the week or the month, but here we are, living a difficult life joyfully because we believe and we know (according to faith) that our breakthrough must come. And if we know that, then we have to be patient and wait on it. Sounds simple, but it really takes some serious discipline and strength. Strength dooesnt come from us either...again we have to draw on God. So whenever we are feeling down...a little discouraged maybe, hopeless even...we have to exercise our faith with patience and strength which we have to get from above. And dont forget that life is difficult, but when God is in the vessel we can smile at the storm. So drink a cup of soup.....patiently!!!!
