Get away

 So yeah being a mom a wife a business owner or just simply being a woman, a nurturing, always thinking always saving always trying to do woman! Get Away! Make quiet alone time mandatory! NO matter what... its the only way to recharge and not explode! Think happy thoughts, picture yourself where you want to be..think about the promises God has for you. Breathe, sleep, read Gods word,watch your favourite TV show as long as you get to do it alone. We make time for everyone and everything else, except ourselves and God. Im choosing Mary this time around with a little bit of Martha... But like Mary I want to choose whats better for my mind soul and spirit. Its almost 2026, Lets put it in motion ladies!

Make Eggs for Mama!

So Im starting this blog again, hopefully I can remain consistent this time. Writing feels like a chore but greatly therapeutic. My thoughts have deepened, my real life experiences have multiplied, perimenopause is in full swing and so is my relationship with God. Im angry and at peace at the same time. OK I should explain that! Women over forty with teenage kids maybe this is relatable. Its funny how things work, the most miserable time of your life ie all the changes that comes with menopause and all the annoying symptoms...clashes with the most challenging time... establishing your adult self and raising teenagers! Fighting but also surrendering, grappling but also resisting, desiring but couldn't give one hoot about what others think... so in full battle mode but being at peace. Theres a special place for God, only He can tie it all together and make it make sense. 

So yeah! Looking forward to diving back into this.
